The most censored breastfeeding photo on Facebook

One of the most censored photos on Facebook displays a woman nursing her young baby. Titled "Holy Virgin" this photograph was taken by renowned Czech photographer, Sara Saudková, in 2003. This photo, along with many others Saudková shot in more recent years as part of an artistic protest against Facebook's removal of breastfeeding mother's photos, are rarely available for more than a day.

  2. Well, it's the most natural thing in the world, a mother, feeding her baby. What's not normal is to advertise a cologne or something...almost naked!!!

  3. The most strong, most natural conductor, the motherly love, the source of life, natural connection, unique, irreplaceable, the unique act, where there are only two actors, there is no room for more.... the mother and her baby... The Ultimate Blessing.

  4. Censored for what? There are some very vulgar and rude things circulating through all social networks without censorship. But feeding a child must be censored? I don't see why.

  5. When I was little, in Uruguay, a mom could breast-feed her baby anywhere and it was normal. Today to breast-feeding has to be in certain places... and who understands all these new 'rules'?

  6. What a beautiful picture. Those who are ashamed of the human body, and moreso a mother breastfeeding her baby, do not understand God's work.
