Some people use a foam wedge or a noodle or rolled towel or something that will allow the seat to be tipped back AND still be tightly strapped/secured into the seat so it is not moveable. We've done this for our babies (birth through 5 years) and it works wellSarahnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31180029.post-55485495575858120392012-09-13T02:08:30.370-04:002012-09-13T02:08:30.370-04:00I need advice on this subject. I just bought a new car seat for my 3 year old because we had another baby. When my toddler sleeps in her seat, which most children do fall asleep in the car, her head falls into the chin-to-chest position because the seat does't recline enough to prevent her head from doing so. Severely premature. One of them came home on oxygen and due to that the only way to take her anywhere was either in her bucket seat or in a stroller. She was also on a pulse ox meter for 10 months.
