  1. I have shown the film CUT and will do it again.

Bravo to folks compassionate and smart enough to end this "tradition" for one that is peaceful and kind.

Judaism is made stronger by such people.

I was born a Jew - but I have intact sons.

  2. Wonderful resources, thank you.

Have you come across any resources for parents who have one circumcised son and are expecting a second son? I have seen an article somewhere about dealing with two boys who look different but can't find it.

  3. Anon (March 28) - there are several resources for parents with both a circumcised and intact son here:

  5. It's a shame you don't choose the middle path of returning to the biblical circumcision. The Karaites still do it and they say it's such a simple procedure the baby doesn't even bleed. That way you can keep your son in the covenant of Avraham Avinu and not mutilate his foreskin. That's what I plan on doing with my sons in the future. Non-Jews have no reason to circumcise and it's bizarre to me why they do... if I weren't Jewish I wouldn't touch anything on my child...

  6. The link for the list of Brit Shalom celebrants is out of date. It is now http://britshalom.info (Your link will still go there, after a delay.)
