    1. Dr. Uzelac forcefully retracted my infant son's foreskin in 2013. I stopped her by physically prying her fingers off my kid and asking her to not touch his penis. She fought me on it saying her own son is intact and that she knows what she is doing and that she was not being forceful, just seeing how far back the foreskin would go on its own. But she pulled the foreskin back to check on how far she could make it go without asking my permission first.

This past visit last week, my husband came with me to see Dr. Uzelac for a well-baby and well-child visit and we brought our newborn and toddler boys to her. We were both prepared and mentioned that she was not to touch their penises before we took off the diapers. She seemed more educated about intact care this last visit, but we were also 100% firm with her and prepared to fight for our kids, and we mentioned this before she touched them.

  3. Dr. Scott Armstrong (Auburn) has been intact friendly thus far. When we spoke to him just after the birth of our son and he told us that it was completely up to us and gave no recommendation either way. He is very respectful of our decision to keep our boy intact.

  4. Dr. Rachael S. Meadows in Bargersville, IN is good - but be sure to never ever see Dr. Lake there.

  5. Dr. Keolasy (Huntington) won't perform routine infant circumcisions and advises parents against it. He's a great doctor and a good resource for intact care.

  7. Dr. Yamout in Munster. After learning our previous Doctor was not intact friendly (Dr. Patrick-Miller from Schererville) we found her and she's been wonderful with our son.

I actually sent my son to be circumcised when he was born. Due to some defects (hydrocele, undescended testicle, and later known, a hernia), they were not able to do it. I was young and ignorant of the harm it could cause. This was almost 13 years ago. My son remains intact. Dr. Stine has been his doctor from day one. She has always reassured me (when he hasn't retracted on his own I was worried), she never tried to retract him, and she always gave me knowledge on cleaning and what to look for. She assured me when he had repairs done that there was no need for him to be circumcised. I am thankful for her knowledge. She's an amazing doctor all around, even if she's a little silly and hippie like (we love her so much that ALL the kids in mine and my husband's family uses her).
