  1. Desperately seeking a "foreskin friendly" urologist who will see a 15 year old boy. Dr. M. David Gibbons was our hope, but his office refuses to see our boy, which has left us completely lost as to where to turn. We need a "foreskin friendly" urologist in the DC/NOVA/Southern Maryland area who is covered by our insurance. Running out of hope here.

  2. See if Chabara Sait and Reddy are still in Waldorf. They said circumcision was unnecessary because I could retract. I figured out the cleaning part in grad school and no problems here. Thanks Mom for the no-cutting approach on me and brother.

  3. Dr. Patterson Pediatric Associates Of Montgotmery Co (I see him in the Olney office). He's never tried to retract my son, and even knows some boys may not retract until puberty. Gentle, quiet, but knowledgable and great doctor. He's gone alone with my delayed vacc schedule as well.

I'm not sure about the other doctors, but I have seen some of them for walk ins and no one has mentioned anything about him being intact or tried to retract him.

Their info booklet has correct intact care info too.

  4. Partners in pediatrics in Hagerstown is intact friendly and knowledgable. They are also mellow about non vax. They recommend them but aren't pushy.

  5. Dr. Alicia Morgan-Cooper has been amazing with my daughter who had a labial adhesion and has been fantastic with my intact son. She never asked me if I was planning on having him cut and knows not to retract.

  6. We switched to Dr. Robert Boughan after our previous doctor repeatedly retracted my son. When I told him my son was intact and it made me uncomfortable for him to be retracted, he immediately said, "I won't touch him." he then went on to tell me how he feels that doctors actually need to keep a closer eye on circumcised boys because of common healing difficulties. I highly recommend him!

  7. Dr. Lee in New Market has been our pediatrician since our daughter was born over 7 years ago. Sadly, he isn't vocal about is stance on circumcision unless asked, but he has taken great care of our two intact boys as well.

  8. Dr. Amina Watson in Upper Marlboro never pressured us or anything when we didn't circumcise our son. At a couple of checkups she lifted his penis to look under it and checked his testicles, but most of the time, she just undid the diaper and took a quick look without touching anything. Never ever retracted at all or told us to or said that he should be retractable. We saw her from the time he was born until he was about 18 months (until we moved). Granted, we never had any problems, so we never got to see what her approach to those would be, but she clearly knew to leave the intact penis alone.

  9. Dr. Marianne Rothschild in Mount Airy is very alternative with a focus on genuine healing and health maintenance, not sickness management like most doctors.

  10. We saw Dr manchevez in Cumberland Maryland today. He is a pediatrician and actually explained to me why it is not a good idea to retract the foreskin on my 1 year old.
